Leonard E. Todd, 82 of Long Branch, died courageously, from cancer without enduring painful treatments on Sunday, July 25th at the Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Mr. Todd was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Long Branch since 1952. He was honorably discharged from the US Army, during Korean Conflict. He attended Pratt Institute, NYC. He was a Supervisor and Technical Illustrator at Fort Monmouth, retiring at the age of 48. He then pursued his career as a successful cartoonist, which many of his cartoons were sold to different journals throughout the Country. Mr. Todd was an avid golfer and a member of Old Orchard Country Club, Eatontown. He excelled at all athletics. Mr. Todd had impressive collection of 45's Rock and Roll albums as well as the Big Band Era. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor. Mr. Todd is survived by his wife, Joan Schulz Todd; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Suzanne Todd, Flemington; three grandchildren, Ryan, McKeena and Schulyer Todd; his cousin, Lenore Belak, Suffern, NY Visitation will be Wed. July 28, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Woolley Funeral Home, 10 Morrell St., Long Branch. Funeral services will be Thurs. July 29th, 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home.
