Virginia L. Praet, 79, of Holmdel passed away on Saturday, August 21st, 2010. Born in Newark, Virginia lived in the Parlin neighborhood of Sayreville for 56 years prior to moving to Holmdel. She was a Homemaker, a wife, and a mother. She was predeceased by her husband Harry, by her son Robert, by a grandson Kevin Farley, and by a brother Robert Matt. She is survived by her son Richard and his wife Michele of Freehold, by her daughter Carol and her husband Ed Farley of Colts Neck, by her daughter Joann Gorrie Edghill of Colts Neck, by her grandchildren Andrea Praet, Jillian, Jessica, Gianna, and Michael Praet, Marc, and Mathieu Gorrie, and Raelyn and Edward Farley, and by her brother Frank Matt. Visitation will be on Tuesday August 24th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday August 25th at 10:00 A.M. at St. Gabriels R.C.Church, Route 79, Marlboro. Entombment will then follow at Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum in Cranbury NJ.
