I met Karen when we ran cross-country together in high school, and was lucky to remain friends with her. I feel so blessed to be among those who knew and love her - she was a light in this world and I will miss her forever. Thinking of her daughters and Mike, her parents, her brothers, her sisters-in-law, her nieces and nephews...and all who love her. She touched more lives than can ever be counted!

I remember running the Spring into Summer 5k in Middletown. I saw these women in black shirts with a pink logo, and especially noticed the woman leading them and cheering them on. Her enthusiasm and energy was inspiring ... not to mention her beautiful smile. After the race I immediately went up to her and asked how do I get involved with this great group? The group was Women on the Run and that lady was Karen Carson. That was 7 yrs ago. I loved it. The last few years scheduling got in the way but I will be forever grateful that I got to run this last season with this great group and inspiring coach. RIP Karen thank you for inspiring us all . I will think of you often with every step.

My fondest memories of Karen are when she ran track with my daughter, Nicole. I’ll always remember the many meets from cross country, winter and spring that Bill, I and her mom and dad cheered on our girls. Karen would always be smiling. I can’t forget the track team stopping by my house for water when they were out on a practice run. Even after Nicole graduated Karen, Mary and the rest of the girls would still stop by. Our prayers are with you all

We love you, Karen, you will be missed and your memory will live on forever. I am so devastated. What happened to you is not fair. You were always the. Beacon of health and happiness. You always made me feel good and supported me in so many ways. I've always admired you, how strong and happy you always were. You inspired me to start running, when I never thought I could do it. You were there for my half and full marathon. Always cheering me on. Always so loving. I always have to remind myself that God Has A Plan...I might not know why He chose to take you when he did but I have faith that He knows best. One day I might know too. God Bless. I promise I'll help your Girls in any way I can. ❤❤❤. Always in my heart ❤❤❤
