Frederick C. Geiger
July 22, 1949 - June 4, 2012

Frederick C. ' Rick' Geiger, 62 of Long Branch, died June 4, 2012 at Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center, Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Rick was born in Red Bank and grew up in Oceanport. He graduated from Red Bank Catholic High School in 1967, Villanova University in 1971 and Sherman College of Chiropractic in 1982. Rick has been a practicing Chiropractor for 30 years in Long Branch and Oceanport. He was pre-deceased by his parents, Frederick C. and Julia H. Geiger. Rick is survived by his sister Judith A. Baxter and her husband, Elwood L. Baxter, Leesburg, Fl.; several cousins and many friends. A celebration of Rick's life will be held for family and friends at Branches Restaurant, 123 Monmouth Road, West Long Branch, on Saturday, June 9th, 11:30 AM. Judy & Ellwood, Words cannot express how saddened we are with the news of Rick's passing. Judy, you may remember you used to babysit us back when we lived in WLB. On occassion you would bring Rick along with you, I think from those days forward I always looked up to Rick. When Rick came back from chiropractic school we reconnected as adults.
