Thomas Andrew Chamra of Holmdel passed away on August 5, 2020.

Surviving is his wife Barbara, three children Holly and her husband Jason Andersen, Heather and her husband Dr. Kenneth Belitsis of Middletown, and Casey Thomas Chamra Esq. of Cedar Grove, his three beloved grandchildren Ayla and Zachary Andersen and Demetrios Belitsis, his brothers Robert and his wife Lena Chamra and Andrew and his wife Phyllis Chamra of North Carolina and a sister Evelyn and her husband David Denihan of Nevada. Tom was always a source of comfort and guidance to his children. Always being the best father.

Special thanks to the Radiation Oncology Department at Monmouth Medical Center for their everyday compassion and support.

Due to the current health crisis, a memorial will be held later

Thank you all for your kind words. My dad was so brave in his fight against cancer. He was the most generous person I know and family always came first. We love him and miss him. He is resting peacefully now.

As we all travel down this path of life, there are many enjoyable special moments, graduation, a wedding, birth of a child, a first job, and many more. But, there are many moments of stress and pressure that we also encounter, that I call “first times” For me, I remember starting kindergarten - walking across town, “no problem” I have a brother. Playing baseball, “no problem” I have a brother, going to the park. “no problem” I have a brother, going fishing, “no problem” I have a brother, going ice skating, “no problem” I have a brother, going to high school, “no problem” I have a brother, and many more, “no problem” I have a brother. Thank you very much, Tommy. Remembering what our Dad always said, “ make sure your children have it better than you” Tommy surely did it well, with 3 successful children. I know very well that when my first last day comes, “no problem” I have a brother. Thank you Tom

We are heartbroken & sadden by the loss of our brother Tom. He was an amazing guy loving his family, always there for them no matter what. He is at Peace resting comfortable. We will miss him terribly! ??
