David C. Buzzelli, 61 of Highlands, died at his home on Monday, Nov. 29th.
He was born in Neptune and was raised in Long Branch. He graduated from Long Branch High School in 1978. Following graduation, he began his career in the restaurant business at the Sea Loft restaurant in Long Branch.
As his career and skills developed, he worked at several Jersey Shore Restaurants and had settled in the kitchen at the Original Oyster, before becoming the head chef at the Inlet Café, where he has been providing great meals for the last 20 years.
David enjoyed being with friends and making them laugh, he was a fan of the NY Giants and had a lifelong passion for the New York Knicks, having been there ball boy during summer training camp at Monmouth College in the late 60’s.
He was pre-deceased by his parents, Patricia and Godfrey “Buzz” Buzzelli.
Surviving are his siblings, Susan Buzzelli, Florida, Stacey and Kyle Purcell, Ocean and Bruce Buzzelli and his fiancé Nicole Stoffell, Long Branch; his nephew and nieces, Jarrett Dietz and Francesca and Isabella Purcell.
