Lynn was a fighter. I have known her from many years ago, she lived near the Tallmadges , my husbands boss. When she became a resident of Peter Cooper , we met again. She showed tough love and was very kind to my grandsons, in the W.L.B. school. She saw through their disabilities and cared for them with passion and made them feel loved . She will be missed greatly at the Coop! We shared many find memories of the pass and her last few years. Sending my condolences to all of her family. Fondly, Marcia Speck

I had the pleasure of being Lynn's hospice nurse for the majority of her time on hospice. Lynn became like a second mother to me. We would talk for hours about any and everything. Her stories were the best. When I left hospice, I continued to visit with her. I will miss her so much. I wish you a peaceful journey, Lynn. You were definitely loved.

Dear Geoffrey & Cathy, Where do I possibly begin? Ok…Sleepovers in the 70’s to get up early and put Cream Puff and Buster in the trailer to hit the road for a weekend show. Laughing and singing ourselves to sleep only to wake up to the same. You and your parents were my second home. I was so happy to have had the opportunity to talk at length to your mom a while back to let her know how much she meant to me. I always admired her great strength, sass and, straightforwardness. I will never forget Lynn and the way she mentored me. Allowing me to sweep the barn, ride her horses and become part of the Brookwillow Avenue crew was something that made my childhood magical. I have more than a few pictures to prove it. But, better than that are the sweetest memories that will never fade. I love you guys and will keep you and your family in my thoughts as you grieve yet celebrate a life well lived by your very special mom. XOXO Love you, Annmarie

I am 32 years old. I have known Lynn since I was in 4th grade. She was the substitute school nurse at my school. I had to go into the nurses office every day to take care of certain medical issues and Lynn always said hello with a smile everytime I walked in. Now for the past 9 years, I've lived in the same apartment complex she did and I grew even closer to her. Due to medical issues i was told I was never going to get pregnant and Lynn was the first one I told when I found out I was pregnant in 2024. She was so happy for me and always kept in touch with me to make sure i was feeling ok and that the baby was ok. I will miss her so much seeing her smiling face around Peter cooper village and wish my deepest sincere condolences to her family during this most difficult time!
