James John Aiello Jr., 33, of Englishtown, passed away at Robert Wood Johnson.
James was born in Staten Island and raised in Manalapan, he was a proud graduate of Manalapan High School. James loved staying active—playing handball, working out, and exploring new foods. But his greatest joy was being a father. Sharing his love of dinosaurs with his son brought him purpose and pride every day.
He will be remembered for his strength, warmth, and the deep love he had for his family.
James is survived by his parents James and Christine Aiello; his son James John Aiello III; his siblings Paul Aiello and his wife Sarina, Nicole Groark and her husband Timothy, and Christina Aiello and her partner Fares Troncoso; his grandparents Paul Rossi and Nancy Aiello; his aunts and uncles Paul Rossi and his partner Christine Gambino, Frances Hanna and her fiancé Joseph Pezza, Carol and her husband Jamie Eason, Kevin Gerahty, Thomas Aiello, Keith Aiello and his wife Melanie, and Laura Aiello; his nephew and nieces Nico, Gia, and Vivienne; and many loving cousins.
Visitation will be Friday, August 8th from 6:00-9:00 PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 S. Holmdel Road, Holmdel NJ 07733. A Mass will Be offered at St. Thomas More RC Church in Manalapan, at 10:00 AM. At the request of the family the burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in memory of James to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), where his son is receiving expert care for PKU (Phenylketonuria), a rare genetic disorder.
