My Aunt Pat was so special to me. I am so very, very devastated that I will not be able to tell he that again! I feel so so blessed that I was with her just 6 months ago! She is my Godmother. She, most certainly, showed all that surrounded her such a grace of love and care that held no judgement. She left everyone in her path with a smile and a lesson and feeling better about being just the way they were! This world is hurting today without her gifts and words and expressions! Heaven is smiling and elated with her unexpected and welcomed arrival, I have no doubt!!!

I was truly blessed to have her as my mother-in-law. From the very beginning, she treated me as one of her own. Having lost my mother at childbirth and my stepmother at a young age, she became a wonderful mother figure in my life and never once made me feel anything less than family. She used to joke and ask me if I knew what I was getting into, and I can honestly say it has been one of the greatest blessings of my life to call her “Mom” for the past 35 years. May she rest peacefully knowing that I am here, taking care of her daughter, who is struggling deeply with her passing. She will always be loved, remembered, and missed.

Our family has lost a beautiful soul and the kingdom of heaven has gained one. Mom will be embraced by St. Francis of Assisi and continue to share her love for nature and animals.
