Anna R. Strollo, 89 of West Long Branch died Monday at the Monmouth Care Center, Long Branch. She was born in New York City and had lived in Long Branch before moving to West Long Branch in 1987. Anna was a very loving and caring woman, her love was shown to her family and the many that she helped as a volunteer at Monmouth Medical Center for many years as well as at Peter Cooper Village. She enjoyed bowling in her younger years and Bingo in her golden years. Her great love was being with her family at their large family gatherings. Anna was pre-deceased by her husband, Angelo Strollo, her grandson, Anthony Strollo, her parents, Joseph and Virgina Rescigno; her siblings, Joseph Rescigno, Catherine Being, Gloria Terhune, Anthony and John Rescigno. Surviving are two son's and a daughter-in-law, Angelo Strollo, Jr. and Stephen and Funzie Strollo; her brother George Rescigno; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Josephine Pagliaro, Virginia and Richard Herr, Mary Rescigno, Betty and Anthony Damiano and Carol Terracina; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Visitation Wednesday, Jan. 27th, 3 to 7 pm at the Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch. The funeral mass will be celebrated Thurs. Jan. 28th, 10 am, St. Jerome's RC Church, Wall St. West Long Branch. Entombment will follow at Woodbine Mausoleum, Oceanport.
