Arlene Dapuzzo, 76, of Orefield, PA, died Tuesday, October 31st, surrounded by her loving family.
Arlene was born in Brooklyn, NY, on March 26, 1947. She attended and graduated from Cathedral High School. Family was everything to her. Her favorite moments were gathering her family members for holidays, especially Christmas and Thanksgiving. She also enjoyed cooking her chicken parmigiana and Sunday gravy. She was fond of The Price Is Right and Let’s Make a Deal – she watched these diligently with her husband. One of her favorite past times and memories, however, was sitting on the boardwalk with her husband, Andrew, and savoring a pepper and egg sandwich. She was strong willed and a fighter, she will be missed by all who were privileged to know her. Like her favorite song, she was the light of our lives.
Arlene is predeceased by son, Steven, and her daughter-in-law, Sherri. She is survived by her loving husband Andrew and children: Michael and his wife Danielle of Jackson, Anthony and his wife Theresa of Manalapan, Lisa and her husband George of Orefield, PA, and Gina and her husband Bryan of Tinton Falls. She adored her grandchildren Gregory, Andrew, Matthew, Daniel, Joey, Kevin, Jordyn, Zoey, Tommy, Johnny, and Emma.
At the request of the family, there will be no public visitation. However, all who would like to pay respect are invited to attend a Catholic mass on Monday, November 6th, 11:00 am at St. Gabriel’s Historic Church, 549 County Road 520, Marlboro, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation in her name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. To share a favorite memory or send a message of condolence to the family, please visit her tribute page at holmdelfuneralhome.com.
