So sorry to learn that a wonderful life has concluded. Bernie was a wonderful man, a warm and gentle soul until provoked, at which point he was your worst nightmare. He was possessed of a sharp wit and superior skills as an advocate, but at the same time he was a gentleman first and foremost. I have a ton of memories of spending time with him as he was someone I sought out hen in court, but my all time favorite was watching him t teach a court reporter how to reset a Tamagotchi (a 1990's Keychain toy that you had to keep alive) fondly telling her that his grandkids had them. To his family, I am sure you know how blessed you have been, I can only imagine your loss. A wonderful wonderful man.

The video tribute says it all. Bernie was a family man. He was never alone in any of the photos in the entire 16 minute collection -- even when he was about to toss the football. He was a gentleman and a scholar and one of the most generous individuals I have ever met. My heart goes out to you, Audrey, at this difficult hour. He cherished you so. My prayers are also with the family members he loved and served throughout his lifetime. Our world is a little less noble and a lot less joyful without him. May he rest in peace.

Bernie was always so kind to me as a new attorney. He was generous with his knowledge and kind with his praise especially when he was the one who deserved it. Over the last number of years, I would often see Bernie and his lovely wife in a restaurant and he was always charming and gracious. May God bless Bernie and his family. Paul M. Griffin

My sincere condolences to the Boglioli family. Bernie was one of the first lawyers I met in Monmouth, over 40 years ago. He was always a gentleman and always prepared to talk Notre Dame football. Bud, Ray, Frank and he are probably sitting around right now, doing the exact same thing. "Thank God."

Uncle Bernie This isn't a story but a few fond memories of my Uncle Bernie. I remember many a Sunday afternoon in the family room with football on the TV and lots of boys (Bernie, Bobby, Billy, my brother Michael, my Dad and Uncle Bernie) enjoying the games. I remember Uncle Bernie stopping by the beach club, just for a bit, all dressed in his suit and tie. Uncle Bernie certainly knew what it meant to work hard and meet with success. He, like so many men and women from his generation, knew that determination and tenacity were key ingredients for a successful and fruitful life. I was always very proud to call you Uncle. Love, Colleen (Kennedy Cardinal)
