I remember the first time I played her white baby grand piano. She taught me how to play a Christmas song because she loved Christmas and spending it with our family. It now sits in our living room and I still play with the old books she used. Love you, Nana.

I am so sorry to hear of Carol's passing. I am the Practice Manager at Holmdel OB/Gyn Assoc. & knew Carol for over 20 years. We would have many conversations when she came into the office about her life when she was younger, how she created the the fan club for Johnny, her grandchildren & how she would accuse the aids from stealing her things. She also would call me at my office & speak to me about how she couldn't drive her big Mercedes any longer & she just wanted to be free from not feeling well. She always wanted to give me her clothes that she couldn't wear any longer. She would say Julie, my clothes are from the brand St. John & are expensive that's why you should take them. She was one of a kind, left a mark whoever came in contact with her & was a special person to me. May she Rest In Peace & may the Perpetual Light shine upon her.

While waiting for my husband to finish his treatment Carol came in. She was upset because she hadn't been able to see her don on TV because she had to leave home for her appointment. Since the tv was on and it was the morning talk show I asked her was her son a newsman and she looked at me and said "No! My son is Jonny, Jon Bon Jovi. She so loved her family. She filled me in on the going on of her grand children and upcoming weddings. She was a delight to talk with. I met her again this time with John Sr. I am sorry for your loss. 🙏Prayers are offered for the whole family. She certainly seemed yo live life to the fullest.

Mrs B was very kind to me and really helped me out after I was mugged in Paris. The thieves got my passport, driver’s license, airline ticket home, and all my money. She immediately contacted her friend in the State Department. Needless to say, everything worked out. I will never forget how much she came through for me and all without even being asked. A lovely friendship developed, especially, between Catol and my parents . When the Fan Club came to fruition Carol was kind enough to give my daughter , who was about 6 at the time. all the bells and whistles. The button sits in a shadow box, along with the personal hand written letter she presented her with. Although we lost touch through the years I thought of that kind gesture the laughs and friendship we had . Such a lovely soul. RIP Carol.

My sincere sympathy for the Bongiovi family. I didn't know Carol personally, however we crossed each other's paths once in the late 1990's when I was a member of the fundraising committee for the Delaware County AIDS Network in Sharon Hill, Pa. I wrote the band a letter, explaining who we were and requested a donation for our Annual Recognition Awards Dinner and Silent Auction. Within weeks, we received a beautiful 'Bon Jovi' poster, autographed by the entire band, and a letter addressed to me from Carol, thanking us for our commitment in the fight against AIDS, and sharing that 'Bon Jovi' receives many requests for donations and that they are always happy to "give back" to the community. Carol also wished us much success with our fundraiser and even conveyed an interest in the outcome. Dear Bongiovi Family, My heart aches for you all during this most difficult time. Mrs. B’s impact will be remembered by anyone who ever met her. I remember in 1987 a 13 year old me sent cash to pay for something from the ‘Secret Society’ as the fan club was called back then, and Mrs. B sent me back a handwritten letter letting me know she had received the payment and “to NEVER send cash through the mail again because it could have been easily taken” and to be more careful with my money! I told her that story later in the early 90s when I had the privilege of meeting her and she laughed and said “ Well I hope you listened and didn't do that again.” I assured her I hadn’t . She was a kind-hearted, amazing woman whose spirit shined so brightly! May her love and warmth continue to surround all of you. She has made such an incredible impact on so many people, and will never be forgotten.

First, my sincerest condolences to the entire Bongiovi family for your loss . . . as a long time BSWJBJ member I am so grateful for Mrs. B's personal and sincere touch she extended to the fans who could only ever dream of a chance meeting with our favorite band for life, Bon Jovi. There was a big show coming up in Atlantic City and a ticket-snafu occurred - I forget the unimportant details, but Mrs. B made a phone call to me personally and gave me the instructions to pay and receive the ticket I had expected over night. I could not believe she'd take the time to do that for me. From that moment I knew she was a special lady. While I thought I was only a "somebody", time and email communications later proved, I was special to her - as every single fan was. I went to the Atlantic City show and was shocked to see her in the lobby of the Borgata, sitting in front of a small throng of fans,, quietly....humorously telling a group of thrilled fans stories of a young Brother John! I kept my distance, overwhelmed and too intimidated to even say 'hey Mrs. B!' Thank You . . Well, fate was a friend that evening, as I made my exit at one point to the Borgata elevator and the doors opened . . . myself and a fellow lady-friend fan stepped in and I came face to face with this legendary lady. I froze. I said nothing. My friend, who of course, knew Mrs. B via BSWJBJ, immediately introduced me, 'Hey Mrs. B! This is Lance!!', she said. Mrs. B's face lit up, she threw her arms around me and said, "I Love You!'. Talk about being floored! I got to meet Hugh after the show, never the other guys sadly . . . but meeting Mrs. B was the greatest ~brush~with~greatness~ I ever had in my life. After I got home I thanked her via e-mail and, of course, she immediately responded. What follows, is the last communication I got from her on Christmas Day 2006, I still kept it all these years; Monday, December 25, 2006, 11:58 AM GOD BLESS YOU LANCE....HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT CHRISTMAS AND AN EVEN GREATER NEW YEAR!! As a longtime Bon Jovi fan, I’m forever grateful to Mrs. B for her immense role in Jon’s character, humility, philanthropy, passion and of course achieving his dream. i can't remember much about her all I know I was very young((a baby left on the front steps of her house in Sayreville, NJ in the late '70s, she was a fantastic cook, very sweet very devoted person to Jon her son and his brother rt broken and Bruce her Hubby, I'm very heart broken about this news, i wish i can reach out to the family and give them all my love aand support on this sad day

I am so sorry to hear of Carol’s passing. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an outgoing person who would chat about every day happenings. She was so proud of all her children and grandchildren! I knew her in the capacity of her pharmacist and helped me understand the importance of sticking close to family as I grew up in Old Bridge/Matawan and lived in Fair Haven. She really helped me deal with the loss of my mother. Also she never led on whom her famous son is, but was interested after Sandy what houses were across the river from me . I believe in her heart all her kids were famous. Prayers go out to the entire family at this difficult time.

I had such a good time with her. She even agreed to let me call a friend who was a big fan of Jon's and they spoke on the phone! My friend had known some of her sons as it turned out.
