Carol Perretti,79, of Aberdeen passed away on Saturday June 1st, 2019 at her home.

She was born in Brooklyn, New York. She was predeceased by her loving parents James and Ida Francaviglia, as well as her sister Rose DiPietro.

She was predeceased by her most beloved husband Vincent. She was the loving and adored mother of Donna Pugliese and her husband John, Dawn Carlo and her husband Josh, and Vincent Perretti and his wife Jennifer.

She was the cherished grandmother of Jacqueline and her husband David Paulen, Andrew Pugliese, Josh and Thomas Carlo, and Kristin and Allison Perretti.

Also surviving is her devoted sister Debbie Sica and her husband Thomas and their family.

Her greatest joy and love was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday June 3rd, at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel, NJ. A private family funeral and burial will follow at Moravian Cemetery, Staten Island, NY.

I want to remind you about the conservation of energy. No, this is not a mistake- I want you to understand that Carol's energy has not died. Remember the first law of thermodynamics; that no energy gets created in the universe, and none is destroyed. I want you to know that all of Carol's energy, every vibration, every unit of heat, every wave of every particle that was her remains with her in this world. Amid energies of the cosmos, she gave as good as she got. All the photons that ever bounced off her face, all the particles whose paths were interrupted by her smile, by the touch of her hair, hundreds of trillions of particles, have raced off like children, their ways forever changed by her. All the photons that bounced from her were gathered in the particle detectors that are her eyes, that those photons created within her constellations of electromagnetically charged neurons whose energy will go on forever. I can hope you will examine the evidence and satisfy themselves that the science is sound and that you'll be comforted to know Carol energy’s still around. According to the law of the conservation of energy, not a bit of Carol is gone; she's just less orderly.
