Charles Edward Phillips, 74 of Elizabeth a former shore area resident passed away Tuesday, Nov. 26th at Overlook Medical Center, Summit, NJ. Mr. Phillips was a 1962 graduate of Rensselear Polytechnic Institute, with a degree in Architecture. He practiced for many years in Eatontown at the firm of Phillips and Ryan Architecture. He served in the New Jersey National Guard. He was born in Long Branch and lived in the Shore Area before moving to New York City in the late 80's. He later moved to Elizabeth. Surviving is his brother and sister-in-law, John and Barbara Phillips, Miami, Fl. There will be no funeral services.
