I met Charlie in 1991 when I was 8 years old. He and Jeanne became like grandparents to my sister and I. He was a wonderful man, perennially cheerful, friendly and loving, helpful beyond belief, and he told great stories. I'll miss him terribly, but will cherish the time I had with him forever.
