Dr. Maryann and Family, Please accept our deepest condolences on your father's death. He was a wonderful peditrician and an excellent diagnostican. The children loved him, I had 4 and one had a heart problem that he picked up right away. He dispensed so much common sense knowledge to parents and practiced such good medicine. I wish my grandchildren could have him for a peditrician. May he rest in peace.

To The DeGennaro Family, My deepest sympathies and condelences to you. Dr. DeGennaro was my doctor for 21 years. Not only was he mine and my brothers doctor but he also assured my father his doctor misdiagnosed a medical condition for him. His care and concern for all of our family was outstanding. He was an excellent physician and touched so many lives. I hope he knew how much we loved and respected him.

My family was so very sorry to hear about Dr. DeGennaro's passing. He was the Sacerdote, Zummo, Crowley & McMillan families trusted and loved pediatrician until his retirement. He even helped us as adults. Dr. "De" will be remembered fondly by all of us.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Dr. DeGennaro was my pediatrician on Staten Island in the 1970's and 1980's. I will always remember how he entered the examining room with boundless energy, despite the waiting room full of sick children. I am grateful to have been in his care all those years. My condolences to the family.

To The DeGennaro Family, Dr.D was the best pediatrician ever! My daughter will be 26 next month, but we both have fond memories of him. I can remember calling him once at 2 or 3 in the morning, and he answered his phone! When I apologized for disturbing his sleep (the next time I took my daughter to the office), he wanted to make sure that he didn't fall asleep on the phone! Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. He will never be forgotten. Sincerely, Marie and Lisa Mancuso

Dr. DeGennaro was my pediatrician throughout my childhood and adolescence on Staten Island, and a finer, gentler, more compassionate doctor I could not imagine. He was also brilliant and on top of everything; he came up with a rare diagnosis that 99% of doctors would have missed. He will forever have my affection, respect and gratitude. My sincere condolences to his family.

"Dr. D" was/IS one of the greatest diagnosticians I have ever had the pleasure to deal with both personally, being my pediatrician and my children's, and professionally, having worked with him directly and in directly in Staten Island. Dr. D had a memory like a steel trap. He never forgot a patient. He was greatly respected by my family dating back to the early 1960's in Brooklyn. My deepest condolescences to his family.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
