During her life, Colleen found joy in spending time with her family and friends, whether it be at weekly dinners, playing with her grandchildren, monthly gatherings with friends, vacations or birthday celebrations, she always enjoyed time spent together with all of her loved ones. Her family was her everything and she loved each and every one of them so very much. She was such a happy person who enjoyed making others around her happy too.

Colleen is predeceased by her father, James Kilcomins and her nephew James Kilcomins Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Todd, who she had been married to for 40 years, her two daughters, Shayla Salerno and her husband Chris of Hazlet; Cailin Norton of Maui Hawaii and her son, Shaine Norton and his wife August of Maui Hawaii; five grandchildren, Gianni, Luca, Audrina, James, and Briella. She is also survived by her mother, Mary Kilcomins, her brother, Jim Kilcomins, and her nephew Ian Kilcomins.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 5pm – 8pm at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12pm Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Church of St. Catharine, 108 Middletown Road, Holmdel, NJ. Entombment will follow at Holmdel Cemetery & Mausoleum, Holmdel.

We are deeply saddened by your loss. Riding the school bus was always the favorite part of our daughters school day. Ms. Coleen was so sweet and kind, greeting every child with a big smile. She will be missed very much.

So saddened when I learned of Colleen’s passing. Got to know her as an employee at Village School & looked forward to laughing with her each day. My heartfelt sympathy goes to her family & friends.

Miss Colleen was my son’s bus driver for over 3 years. She was so kind and spoiled the kids with candy and thoughtful little gifts throughout the year. My son was always so excited to receive her handwritten thank you card after the holidays…. She will be missed.

My heart goes out for your family, Colly Coll made an impact in my heart and all our Maui friends. I remember just a few months ago she was sitting on Cailin’s kitchen floor watching us make shell necklaces for my friends toddler and we were talking story and laughing and enjoying life. She always thought I was funny and it made me feel special :) She was such an incredible mom and can still feel how much she loves her family 🤍 her spirit lives on!

My heart hurts for all of you....for our entire family and all who loved Colleen. She was beautiful inside and out and I'm so thankful for good memories. My love is with you and I'm with you in spirit and in prayer.

My words can’t express how thankful I am for crossing paths with Mrs. Colleen. She was our kids’ bus driver since 2021, and our lives were better because of her. She always greeted us with a smile and a warm conversation. I was fortunate to share five years of our lives working hand in hand for our kids. I was so very sad to hear this news. Colleen was an awesome positive force and always had a smile for everyone. Our families were very close over the years and participated in the Melrose Blackhawks Drum Corps sharing many laughs. She will be missed by many for sure.

There was no better friend than this amazing woman. I've known Colleen for over 40 years, having shared every milestone of our lives together...working together at the bank, attended each other's weddings, raising our kids, having grandkids and through it all we always found friend time to meet up, chat, celebrate the good times and lean on each other in tough times. Colleen will be missed beyond words by so many whose lives she touched in only the most positive of ways.

May she rest in peace. I kinder soul would be hard to find.
