James N. Ryerson, died August 3rd at the Jersey Shore Care Center, Eatontown. Jim was a lifelong resident of Oceanport, and moved to Tinton Falls in 2006. He was a communicant of The Church of the Precious Blood in Monmouth Beach and more recently St. Anthony's Church in Red Bank. Jim was a former member of the Shore Regional Board of Education of over 9 years and was a past president. He was a member of the American Electroplaters Society, active for many years in the manufacturing of automated processing systems for nationwide industries, and holder of many industry related patents. Jim was pre-deceased by his wife, Joan Ryerson and his parents, Hazel and Arthur Ryerson. He is survived by his two sisters Jeannette Banta and Judy Earle. Surviving are his children, James and Susan Ryerson, Oceanport, Monica Little, Bradenton, Fl, Rosemary and Bruce Lane, Oceanport and Janet and Kevin Mills, Peachtree City, GA; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Visitation Sunday, August 7th, 4-6 pm at the Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch. Funeral services Monday, August 8th, 10 am at the funeral home.
