To Mrs. Miller, Judy, John, and Karl, my deepest sympathies. Found out yesterday, and unfortunately cannot attend this morning. Have very fond memories of the crazy times on Cooper Ave. Mr. Miller was a loud, loving, funny guy. I'm sorry he is gone. Hope you are all well. Wish I could have personally paid my respects. All the best to you and your families during this difficult time. John Hendricksen

The other day you asked me how I felt and you were worried about me. I said i was doing ok and you were not well at all. I said to you that it would be nice if we could go to sleep and not wake up. A few days later I was told that you had passed. I sure will miss our talks and our memories. I will miss my big brother. Every time I said goodbye I told you that I loved you and you always said I love you too brother. I remember the time Daddy took me to see you play sandlot football.no helmet or pads. You were the running back and it always seemed it took three guys to get you down. After the game your arms were bloody and your shirt torn off. TOUGH GUY I remember a guy came in the store and told me my brother John came to his aid. He was in a fist fight with two guys and he pulled off the highway and took on one of the guys and laid him out.He thought you were the greatest. TOUGH GUY The time we were at the Hi Henry Inn on Branchport Ave and some guy pushed me on the way to the bathroom and you jumped off your stool and laid him out. TOUGH GUY Mother went to a store to take something back and the owner threw the money in her face. She came back crying and a few days later that guy came in to buy a bus ticket. You grabbed him by the back of the neck and his belt then thrw him out the door. The cop Freddie Karrberg said he was directing traffic and here comes John beating this guy in the middle of the street. TOUGH GUY Remember the time you slid your big indian motorcycle and tore your jacket and pants and Mother sold it the next day TOUGH GUY i wish I was there to say goodbye but you know how I feel. I often look at the birds and the geese flying over and wonder why we never see them when die. I think God enjoys them so much that he keeps them for himself. I believe it doesn't end here,we talked about this and you said you weren't sure. I guess you know I was right, since he came for you like he does for the birds and you are now on that journey so enjoy the ride. I love you brother take care of yourself and I will see you in due time. We had a great ride and fun along the way I will miss you Your brother Dick or as they say back east (Dickie)
