John N. Williams, 90, Oceanport, passed away at his home on Thursday, May 23rd. Mr. Williams was born and raised in Bloomfield, NJ before moving to Oceanport in 1954. He was the owner and operator of John Williams Painting and Paper Hanging in Oceanport. Mr. Williams was also a master clock maker, running his own clock repair business. Mr. Williams was predeceased by his wife Gladys in 2003, his son John in 1995 and his grandson Woodrow Williams, 2012. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Tom and Gayle Williams, Long Branch; Tim and Carol Williams, Oceanport; a daughter Joan Williams of Eatontown; his grandchildren, Jonathan Huhn and his wife Eileen, and Jason Williams and his wife Miwa, Shannon Washington; five great-grandchildren, Aidan Huhn, Sara Dravis, and Klaus, Ty and Leo Williams. A memorial gathering will be held Tuesday, May 28th, 2 to 4 pm at the Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrell St., Long Branch.
