Joseph John Foster of Long Branch passed away Tuesday, January 1st, 2013 at the Monmouth Care Center and St Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care services, Long Branch. Mr. Foster was born in Freeland, PA and lived in Long Branch, NJ for the past 30 years. He was a World War II veteran who served in the U.S. Navy with most of his time spent in the Pacific theater. Upon his Honorable Discharge from the Navy he returned to the states, married and raised two children. He was the proprietor of Magic Touch Antiques, Red Bank, NJ. He was a member of the American Leagion, the VFW. He was happiest when helping others and volunteered for numerous charities and service organizations among them FISH and Meals on Wheels. He was pre-deceased by his Father, John Yenshaw and his Mother, Helen Yalch Yenshaw. Surviving are his loving wife, Margaret Theresa Foster, Long Branch, NJ, his devoted daughter, Jean Lois Foster, Arlington, MA, son Joseph Robert Foster and daughter-in-law, Maureen Leek Foster, Oceanport, NJ, and his beloved grandchildren, Theresa Ann Condict, Perry Adele Foster, and Sarah Michelle Condict.Visitation will be Friday, Jan 4th, 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM at the Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch.
