Josephine Roma, 89 of Holmdel formerly of Brooklyn died at Complete Care, Holmdel on Wednesday November 8th. Mrs. Roma was an active parishioner of St. Dominick RC Church, Brooklyn and remained a devout catholic praying the rosary daily.

She loved cooking Italian delicacies, especially her eggplant parmigiana. Josephine was a graphic artist, who loved to draw and sew. She watched TCM and all the old movies that they broadcast. Josephine worked as an Office Administrator for a pediatric medical practice in Brooklyn before retiring. She settled in New Jersey in September of 2012.

Josephine was pre-deceased by her husband Frank Roma in 2005; her brother-in-law, Alfred Cardile and her dear sister in law, Camille Pitrelli.

Surviving is her son and daughter in law, Vincent and Leila Roma, Long Beach, NY and her daughter and son in law, Angela and Bruce Kalbrosky, Colts Neck; her sister and brother, Eleanor Cardile, Staten Island, and Dominick Aloi, Freeport, NY.; two grandchildren Daniel Kalbrosky, Frank Roma and his wife Joanna; two great-grandchildren, Sofia and Isabella Roma.

Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Tuesday, November 21st, 10:15 am, at St. Charles RC Church, 644 Clawson Street, Staten Island, NY.  A graveside service will follow at Oceanview Cemetery, Staten Island.
