Our hearts are heavy as we share the sudden passing of our beloved mother and wife, Kerrie Lim Davis, who left far too soon at the age of 69 on Friday, January 2, 2026.
Born in Singapore, Kerrie came to the United States in 1983 shortly after her marriage to her husband, Bob. She resided initially in Nutley, NJ and for the last 27 years, in Holmdel, NJ. She spent her summers in Lavallette, NJ, where, even as a non-sailor, she took great joy in supporting both her family’s passion for the sport and involvement with the Lavallette Yacht Club.
Kerrie is survived by her husband, Bob of 42 years; her sons Blair and Eddie; and her daughters-in-law, Kate and Emily, whom she loved as her own. She was the proud grandmother of Lucy and was eagerly awaiting the arrival of her second granddaughter later this year. She will also be deeply missed by her siblings: Kha Choo Lim, Chin Khoon Lee, Chin Seng Lim and Gin Choo Lim Yuen, as well as many nieces and nephews.
To know Kerrie was to share in a colorful memory fueled by her bubbly personality and hear about every accomplishment, no matter how small, achieved by her sons. She had a wonderful way of making friends with everyone, which led to her attendance at a countless number of lunch groups. And if Kerrie was not with one of her lunch groups, she could be found video calling her family and friends living in Singapore or endlessly shopping for everyone and anyone. She loved cooking and seeking out epicurean restaurants, and she always looked forward to her next biennial visit back to Singapore to see family and friends.
In accordance with Kerrie’s wishes no public services are planned. A celebration of life may be held at a future time.
