Kevin E. Fister, 72 of Palm City, Fl., formerly of Monmouth Beach, died on Sunday, Nov. 21st at Memorial Sloane Kettering Hospital, NY.
He was Owner/Operator of Coach Works and Classic Coach, in Long Branch before retiring. Starting at age 12, he could repair and rebuild anything mechanical.
Kevin loved sailing, classic cars, family and friends. His antique car showroom included many classics including corvettes and his favorite, 1932 Lincoln Mark I, and at one time he owned the entire line of Lincoln Continentals.
His sailing adventures brought him from Spain to the Canary Islands to the Caribbean and up the entire east coast. He would proudly say the Ocean taught him not to sweat the small stuff, and loved the challenge of a storm.
Kevin had an incredible spirit of optimism, teaching us all how to live life to the fullest. His incredible laugh was contagious. Kevin was a fan of Western movies and classic rock.
He was pre-deceased by his parents and brother, Brian Fister.
