Dear Karen and family, I just wanted to say that Kevin was loved by all at LWC the children most of all. I only knew Kevin from work and he could always make you laugh even when you were not in a good mood. I had a baseball picture from when my son played little league, I ask Kevin if this was him and he laughed and said "Yeah when I had hair." He was a great guy. Always remember, he will check in from time to time. Again I'm so very sorry.

I am humbled to have met Mr. Hoy. His warm greetings everyday for 2 years comforted my child. Kevin knew 'his' kids by name, always with a smile & sometimes a joke too. I was so saddened of this news, because Mr. Hoy was an assett in our community I believe he made the school a better & safer place for children, while putting worried parents at ease. Thank You, Mr. Hoy for ALL of your services..may God bless you forever and always & may you Rest In peace from my family to yours, you will surely be missed. Sincerely, The Rodriguez Family

To Karen, Travis, Vinnie & the family: Although several days have passed, I am still having difficulty finding the words to express my feelings. Kevin and I go back over 40 years to a time when we were just "babies" in the fire dept. Jodi and Kevin go even further back to their youth bowling days. Kevin and I shared the same love of classic TV shows & movies and often spent time firing off quotes to each other. You meet many people serving in the fire department over the years and make many acquaintances but true friends are hard to come by. I'm happy to say Kevin was one of them. I will forever be grateful for his attending my father's funeral recently. It meant a great deal to me. Take comfort in knowing that Kevin was loved & respected by many, many people both in and out of the fire department. You were never really accepted until you were the subject of Kevin's good-natured teasing, and few, if any, ever escaped that.
