Luke A. Krall, 96 of Clark, passed away peacefully Tuesday June 4th at home, surrounded by family.
Born in Miners Mills, PA, Luke served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. After discharge from the Marine Corps, Luke worked in various industries and held positions at US Steel and the Clark Department of Public Works.
Luke found great joy in spending time with his family, relegating all with his stories of years gone by, and celebrating the achievements of his children and grandchildren. As a younger man, Luke enjoyed Saturdays at the racetrack where he delighted in picking the winning horse or traveling to Atlantic City with his wife Marilyn for a weekend getaway.
Luke was predeceased by his wife of 65 years, Marilyn and his son-in-law Paul Ahn. He is survived by his children Kathleen Krall Ahn, of Rumson, Kimberly Krall Gaines, of Colts Neck, Karen Krall Collier, of Freehold; his sons-in-law Michael and Douglas; his grandchildren Douglas and his wife Jessa, Christopher and his fiancée Allie, Justine and her fiancée Ryan, Daniel, Luke, Matthew and Dean.
Visitation will be Tuesday June 11th 4:00-8:00 pm at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. A mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, June 12th at 11:00 am at St. Gabriel Roman Catholic Church,100 N. Main Street, Marlboro. Burial is at St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, Marlboro.
