Dedicated Teacher for many years – Matawan Regional School District Margaret ' Peggy' Poole of Matawan, N.J. passed peacefully surrounded by family on October 27, 2011 at Riverview Hospital. Born Nov. 16, 1931 in Irvington, NJ to David and Margaret Bruce. Raised in Morganville, NJ, graduated Upsala College and pursued a career in Education, retiring from Matawan Regional School District in 2009. A longtime resident of Holmdel she relocated to Matawan in recent years. She was predeceased by her husband Alfred C Poole and brothers David and Joseph Bruce. Survived by her children: Charles Poole of Matawan, Peggy Poole of Massachusetts, Joan Frazier of Texas, Robert Poole of Union Beach and Janet Poole of Monmouth Beach. Grandmother to Cheryl Poole, Greg , Kyle and Jennifer Frazier, and Peggy and Kenny Vogel. Great Grandmother to Rylee Marsh. And her beloved dog Teddy. A visitation will be held on Sunday October 30th from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00P.M., with a Memorial Service being offered at 1:30 P.M at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Rd.
