Dearest Grampy, This is a time of tremendous sadness, but also a time to be thankful for those we love and the memories we are fortunate enough to share together. I'm grateful to have gotten to known you Mr. T. I'm grateful for the 'world class' parties you hosted for us over the years. I'm grateful for the one-liners that I will repeat with a smile for always. And mostly, I'm grateful for the son that you helped to raise, who is now helping to raise my sweet boy. Thank you Grampy, God Bless you, we love you.

Aunt Betty and Family, Uncle Marty was larger than life! There was no one like him. Anyone who knew him was privileged to be part of his life. He made the world a better place...and a little more Irish I will miss his voice and smile! Praying God will give you strength and peace through these coming weeks. XOXOXO Robbie and Anna

Betty, Martin Jnr, Lisa, Christopher & Michael, We are so so sorry to hear the terrible news about Marty. He was always the same as an Uncle to me and it is simply so hard to imagine that he is gone. He was such a kind, gentle and generous man. Even though we are not there you are all very much in our thoughts and prayers. It meant alot to have had Marty home for our wedding in 2012 and will cherish those and many other happy memories of Marty for many years to come. I just read one of the most beautiful obituaries, for Martin. I never met Martin, but know one of his children, Lisa. She is a testimony to all of the wonderful qualities and values of a loving home! I also see those same values and love being passed on to the next generation, as Meegan was in my preschool class last year. I will continue to lift up the family in prayer and especially Martin's wife, Betty, during this whirlwind, for the next several days and those to come. How wonderful to have had such a strong and loving patriarch in your family!
Dear Betty and Family, The Lord said on July 4th, the day he was born 74 years ago, "Marty, I know you don't want to, but Please Come Home, we have a place for you at my table in heaven to celebrate what a wonderful example a husband, father and friend to the world you have become." God Bless Marty, our dear friend. John and Hazel Early. California

I'm so sorry to hear that Marty has passed. He was a wonderful classmate and a true gentleman, even back in our high school days. My deepest sympathies to his wife and children.
I remember Marty's generosity when my wife and I visited the Full Shilling with friends who had never been to NYC before. Marty treated us all to dinner - very kind of him and an example of why he was among the most popular members of the Class of 1959 at St. Benedicts.
Dear Betty, Very saddened to hear of the death of Marty. We have such great memories of him. Especially his trips back to Ireland for the Galway races. He will be very much missed by all. May he rest in peace.

Dad, I'll miss too many things to count: hanging with your grandson, who will help carry the family name for a new generation... the lunches at Maggie's... the wins by our Giants, especially Super Bowl XLVI at The Full Shilling... the laughs watching Austin Powers, Dumb & Dumber and Rodney Dangerfield movies... traveling all around the state of New Jersey together to watch the CBA hoops team my senior year. Such great memories from a life well lived. Your work ethic, generosity and ability to find simple pleasures set an example for your family. You were an amazing father and I'll never forget you every day for as long as I shall live, until we see each other again. Love, Your Son Always, Michael

I extend my condolences to my friend Michael Teevan and the extended Teevan family. A sense of loss may be lessened, if only in small measure, by the assurance of a life well lived.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Teevan family. Mr. Teevan was a good man who always greeted us with a warm smile and welcoming handshake. We are saddened by his passing but grateful to have known him. He may be gone in body, but we continue to enjoy his spirit through our good friend Marty Jr.
Marty had a wonderful sense of Irish humor. He was a terrific stock and bond trader. I learned a great deal from him. He was my good friend since 1968 when we worked together in the Arbitrage Department of Bache & Co. He will be greatly missed.
Please accept our deepest condolences for your family's loss.
