I am just learning about my Dad's cousin's passing and am quite shocked and saddened. Mary Lou and I had been e mailing each other before and after my Dad's passing and then suddenly I did not hear from her! Thought that maybe she was just not emailing any more but then searched and found this! The old guard is passing, my Mom Patricia Clay Hussey died in 2021, my Dad, in 2005. Mary Lou, Patricia and George were all dear friends and relations. May they all rest in peace, we miss them.

Christine McCue Potts left a message on October 10, 2019:
Dear Tim and the entire extended family, I'm so sorry to hear about Aunt Mary Lou's passing, and much condolences to all of you for your loss. Mary Lou was a special person who I deeply loved, respected and admired. She was always so good to me growing up. I never remember seeing her unhappy -- she always had a smile, loved to laugh and tell stories, and had a sincere interest in what I and everyone else was doing (and how we were doing). Visits to the farm are among my fondest memories. She always put great care into making sure we felt welcome and entertained -- whether it was tractor rides, visiting the animals, or watching Uncle Tommy go about his chores. It also amazed me to see her resiliency through many challenges and losses, and to know that it was her faith that gave her strength -- a strength she generously shared with others to help them when they needed it too. I'm still trying to see if I can make it down from Boston for services, but the weather isn't helping on that front. In the meantime, I at least wanted to make sure you knew how much I adored Aunt Mary Lou, and that you will be in my thoughts and prayers in the days ahead as you navigate the loss of a very special person. God Bless and much love to you all, Christine

Dear Timmy, Donna & Family ~ My deepest condolences in the death of Aunt Marylou. I hold a special place in my heart for this wonderful woman as she was my godmother, and I have always felt so proud that I was her goddaughter. I will be unable to attend the service in her honor, but am offering rosaries for her. May she be eternally united in joy with Jesus, and her beloved Thomas, Larry and Rita. God bless you and your family. God bless all of the McCue's who have entered into eternal life.
