Maureen McLaughlin Walsh, 61, of Brick passed away peacefully at her home on June 13th.
Born in Jersey City, Maureen was a graduate of The Academy of St. Aloysius High School. She was retired from the Monmouth County Board of Taxation where she served as a supervisor for over 20 years.
Maureen loved to decorate her home and yard to perfection, dining out, and traveling. Her greatest joy was to be with her family, especially her grandchildren, and showering them with gifts and love.
She was predeceased by her devoted parents, Sheila McNeil Thompson, her father William J. McLaughlin; her sister and best friend, Donna McLaughlin.
Maureen is survived by her beloved husband, Joseph S. Weimert; her loving children, Sarah O’Toole (Brian) and Joseph W. Weimert; her brother, James McLaughlin (Jerylann); her step-daughter, Megan Romano (Cosmo); her five grandchildren, Brian, Colin, Matthew, Christina and Bella; her niece Jennifer McLaughlin and her daughters, Madison and Samantha, her nephew and niece William and Jamie McLaughlin.
Visitation Monday, June 20th, 5 to 8 pm at the Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch. Mass of Christian Burial, Tuesday, June 21st, 10:30 am, at St. Michael’s RC Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
