I was saddened to hear about the passing of Michael. My memories of Michael go back to being apprentices in local 581, then working on jobs together. Michael's attitude and work ethic made him a pleasure to work with. My father also worked with Mike and enjoyed sharing memories of Newark with Michael. My prayers and condolences go out to Mike's family. He will be missed.

My deepest sympathy to all. Even though as cousins we lost touch I will always remember the fun times we had as kids, especially on New Years Eve, when all of us would parade banging our pots with wooden spoons. May he rest in peace and ride a Harley in Heaven.

Dear Coreen, I am Steven Speranzo's girlfriend and we met at Houlihan's in July. I am so sorry for your loss. Steve and I liked Mike very much. He supported Steve during his illness by coming to his benefit even though he didn't even know him that well. His kindness will always be remembered in my heart. I pray that he is at peace now and maybe he and Steve are up there together riding off on their Harley's. God bless you and your son. Sincerely, Marybeth

To the Scavone family, I had the pleasure of working for Mike some thirty years ago. Although many years have passed, I have never forgotten all the fun we had and stories we shared on the job. His infectious smile and laugh will never be forgotten. It was truly an honor to be be associated with such a fine gentleman. I will always cherish his friendship. Myself, along with all the members of local 102, share in your grief. Lest we forget.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Dear Michael and Coreen- I consider it blessed to have known Michael through our St.John's softball affiliation. While we wore different baseball caps for the teams we routed for, I know how much he loved being around the guys on the team and with you Michael. You must know that you have a team full of brothers and we all share your time of grieving. But we also rejoice in the many laughs and great moments we shared on and off the field. I know your Dad was proud of you and of us, and he will always be with The Angels when we step on the field again. I wish you both love and comfort from all your friends and family during this time-
