What a wonderful mom, I was so lucky to have her. She loved me endlessly and unconditionally and I felt it everyday. If you know me and think I’m nice, she was even nicer. She was a little rough around the edges sometimes with delivery but always meant well. She was very patient, especially with me. She enjoyed the little things especially in her retirement. Time together was what she most enjoyed. She travelled to many places and if I wasn’t there traveling with her she always called, texted or FaceTimed as much as possible. I don’t think a day has gone by that I didn’t speak to my mother. She loved her family, her whole family - near and far. I am the mom that I am today because of her and I’m am so lucky to have been able to spend everyday with her these past few years. I will be forever indebted to my husband for that and for how he loves and cared for my mother so deeply. Thank you mom for all you’ve done for me and given me. You worked so hard when I was little, going to school at night and working multiple jobs to make it all possible. You always made time for me, but it took a village to help you. Thank you to all her siblings for helping her raise me, she loved you all so much…she loved her grandchildren more than anything in this world and they love her tremendously. She watched her eldest graduate from college this year and her grandson from High School. She was so proud on those days and everyday. She watched her little Isla turn 1. Thank you lord for allowing her time to be a part of all of these wonderful moments. She will still be watching but from up high. You are together with your parents, Tito Raul and Lola Remy. They have been waiting for you with open arms and now you can have so much fun together in Paradise. I love you and will love you forever. See you later alligator…

When we think about close relatives, the De Oceras easily come to mind – they are definitely part of our family. They have made an impact that we truly treasure. Throughout the years, our families shared many wonderful trips together – whether we were living in Puerto Rico, visiting New Jersey, taking road trips along the East Coast, or them visiting us in San Diego. I have fond memories with Tracy, especially – to whom we extend our deepest condolences. Living with the De Oceras as a child, I remember my mom telling me about how Ate Nora took her in, which started a lifelong bond. We are deeply saddened by Ate Nora’s passing and find comfort knowing that they are together again in God’s kingdom. With much love, Elaine Feliciano and family
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
