Patricia Florence Cotroneo, 83, of Freehold, passed away Thursday, surrounded by her family.
Patricia was born and raised in Brooklyn. She married the love of her life, John, in 1962 and moved to Staten Island to raise their family. They later retired to Freehold, NJ.
Known by all as Pat, she was energetic and fun. She was extremely thoughtful, caring, and generous to everyone she knew. She never missed a birthday, anniversary, holiday, or special occasion without sending a card, gift, or making a phone call. She enjoyed going to the casino, dining out, going on cruises, vacations, and trips. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her. Her tremendous presence and the wonderful memories of time spent with her will be carried in her loved ones’ hearts forever.
Patricia is survived by her husband of 63 years, John; daughters Andrea and Cynthia; son-in-law Mark; sister Barbara; beloved grandchildren Gianni, Tiffany, Tyler, and Taylor; and lifelong friend Marie.
Visitation will be Monday, March 17th, from 2:00-4:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM at Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 S. Holmdel Road, Holmdel, NJ 07733. A Mass will be offered on Tuesday, March 18th, at 10:30 AM at St. Catharine’s RC Church, Holmdel. An entombment will follow at Holmdel Cemetery Mausoleum.
