Raymond Stephen Czarnecki, 70, of Colts Neck, passed away on Wednesday at home with his wife at his side.
Raymond was born in Venezuela and raised in Jersey City. After graduating Dickinson High School he went on to Seton Hall University where he received his BS and MBA degrees. Following college, he would begin his working career in Human Resources starting with the city of Jersey City, Englehard Industries, United Airlines, Brookdale Community College and finally ending his career at Home Depot.
Raymond would marry the love of his life, Nancy, in 1981 and the two would start their life together in Matawan. They moved to West Long Branch and finally to Colts Neck where they still live today. Raymond enjoyed the beach, antique shopping, walking the Spring Lake Boardwalk, and Sandy Hook.
Raymond is predeceased by his father Iwan and his brother Gregory.
Raymond is survived by his loving wife Nancy; his mother Katherine; his sister Irene Czarnecki Newby and her husband Arthur; his sister-in-law Dr. Marie Margiotti, his brother-in law Robert Czaplicki and his wife Leslie; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, June 30th from 1:00-4:00 PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 S. Holmdel Rd, Holmdel, NJ 07733. A mass of Christian burial will be offered on Monday, July 1st at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s RC Church, 1 Phalanx Road, Colts Neck. Burial will follow at St. Hedwigs Cemetery in Lawrenceville.
