Thinking of you and wishing you moments of peace and comfort. I first came to Ft. Monmouth in April of 1965 as a 2nd Lieutenant. Sy was the first person I met in the Avionics lab when he interviewed me prior to my assignment. I will never forget that day meeting him at the Evans Area. I felt welcome and glad to be there. He consistently demonstrated strong moral principles and integrity which set a positive example for all who knew him.

May I express my deepest condolences to the Greenspan family on the occasion of Sy's passing. He will be renowned for his integrity and goodwill. As one of many engineers who worked with Sy Greenspan on the development of avionics technology and systems, his contributions to our nation will long be remembered. His integrity, technical as well as organizational insights were greatly valued by those of us who sought his counsel in the course of their careers.
