Dear Bill and family, Cannot tell you how sad we were to hear that Shirley had passed away. We are in Florida for the winter and I had not seen Shirley recently. The last time was at our Bone Builders class in the Godnik Center maybe 2 years ago. Although we hadn't seen each other frequently, we always felt a closeness when we did see each other because of the years and years we spent playing tennis together with other friends. Shirley was a beautiful ray of sunshine where ever she went! She lit up our class with her presence. We are profoundly sorry for your great loss. We hope you believe in life everlasting as we are positive we will be with our loved ones who have left this planet before us. Blessings and Prayers, Ada and Mike Pezzetti

A friend shared your mom's obituary with me today. My condolences to you and your family. I knew Shirley through the Bone Builders group. She was such a lovely lady. We used to have a lot of laughs during class. My your loving memories bring you comfort in the coming days. I love this prayer printed in Dear Abbey from the Union Home Prayer Book. In memory of mother "I remember thee in this solemn hour, my dear mother. I remember the days when thou didst dwell on earth, and thy tender love watched over me like a guardian angel. Thou hast gone from me, but the bond which unites our souls can never be severed; thine image lives within my heart. "May the merciful Father reward thee for the faithfulness and kindness thou hast ever shown me; may he lift up the light of his countenance upon thee and grant thee eternal peace! Amen."

Extending deepest sympathies to the family. I didn't have the privilege of knowing Shirley very well, but knew she'd enjoyed a very active life sharing with her loved ones and friends - a time that was cut way too short! How comforting to know the hope of more exciting times lies ahead for her (Job 14:13-15).
