Susan’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5: 28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope. https://www.jw.org/en/publications/magazines/awake-no3-2018-nov-dec/

Nancy Turner left a message on November 4, 2019:
Dear Amy and Thomas, I never met you but I know who you are. I grew up with your mom across the street from my family on Sheridan Ave. What a wonderful, amazing childhood we had. We had fun every day and the Colaianni and Polomski girls were inseparable. So I know you because I knew your mom. She had a heart that was HUGE and a smile and laugh that made everyone around her feel good. She gave so much of herself in her passion as a nurse and I know that she touched thousands of lives. What a blessing she was and what a tragedy for you to have lost her so soon. Her life lives on in you and I know you make her proud. May God bless you and keep you close. You are also blessed with an amazing family who will be there for you and for that I am grateful. She is gone too soon and my heart goes out to the two of you . My sincerest sympathy, Nancy Colaianni Turner

Dear Nancy, Peter, Jean Marie and MaryEllen and Pete, There are no words that I can say to you other than my heart is broken for you but I know Susan is one of our Angels now. The loss is great and the sadness is overwhelming but I know that Susan would want us to celebrate her life and not dwell on her death. Her faith was deep and we have to believe that she is at peace. She is with baby Diane now and they are looking down on all of you - protecting you and watching over you and your families. At am at a loss for words and just want you to know that the times I shared with your family will always be among my fondest and cherished memories. Sheridan Ave was a special place and every time I drive by I can hear us all laughing and playing and being called for dinner. I feel blessed to have those memories and Susan is a big part of them. God Bless you All Love, Nancy

Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. May Susan rest in eternal peace and God grant Susan's family and friends the strength needed to handle their grief caused by this untimely loss. Tho we came to know all you only a few years ago, Susan, Amy and Thomas added some everlasting memories and moments to our lives. With deepest sympathies, prayers and candles at St. Barnabas. I can never recall not seeing a smile on Susan's beautiful face. Her smile and laughter could light up the darkest room. She was a true warrior and fought the good fight. Susan never complained no matter what adversity came her way. As a single Mom, she did an outstanding job in raising two amazing children. The world is a better place because of Susan. She had so much to offer. You will be truly missed but never forgotten. Love you Susan. Love, Marilyn and Bob Waring
