Amber-Sage Beckhorn left a message on February 28, 2020:
One of the most important memories, I think, that I have of my dad was when my sister and I were in middle school and we both played track and field. I was a jumper and Jaden was a thrower. While I was high jumping, jaden was throwing all the way on the opposite side of the school. My dad didn't want to miss either of our events so while he stood and watched me live at the high jump pit, he parked his car in an illegal spot to set up a tablet and watch jaden through a camera on his phone so he could show his support to both of us. Eventually he went to watch jaden for the rest of her throws when I finished. I find this so important to me and to the memory of my dad because it was such a perfect example of the kind of person he was. He was considerate and loving and supportive and he never wanted to miss out on anything we ever did and he always expressed these very thoroughly with all his caring actions.

Even though I had only met Mr. Beckhorn a couple time, he never failed to leave an impact on me everytime. He was just such a kind and outgoing person that was always the life of the party. He was so kind to everybody that he met and was always able to make a friend wherever he went. I see so much of him in Amber and Jaden and I know for sure that they have and will always make him proud. R.I.P. Mr. Beckhorn

A father, a husband, a son, and more, but among all, he was a friend. His bright, and goofy smile could light up the night sky. He would spread joy and laughter wherever he went. He was, and is loved by more people then there are stars in that same night sky he would light up. R.I.P Billy, you will be remembered.

My memory of Billy's kindness was at my mother's funeral. He drove with Glenn to the service and then participated in the burial which is an honor and showed what a fine man he was.
