Robert McIntosh, 73, of Tinton Falls passed away unexpectedly Monday, June 14th surrounded by his loving family.
Bob was born in Berkeley, CA. He went to high school in Los Angeles, CA, spending many summer nights cruising Sunset Boulevard. A graduate of California State University Sacramento, Bob spent a brief time as an adjunct professor of Sociology at Yuba College, CA. One summer day, he met his wife Leona on the shores of Lake Tahoe, CA. Together they owned and operated Empress Travel in Middletown NJ for many years. Bob was smart, fun and funny and could make anyone laugh. He was most proud of his daughter, Shannon, and being a “Horse Show Dad”. He loved playing guitar and singing with a surprisingly good voice.
Bob is survived by his wife, Leona, his daughter Shannon McIntosh, husband Greg Brownstein and his pride and joy, grandson, Ryder Brownstein. Brother John McIntosh, wife Vicky. Sister-in-law, Linda Campion, husband Brian. Brother-in-law, John Stuppiello, wife Hennie. Nephews Sean Campion, wife Melissa and daughter Elizabeth. Sean McIntosh, wife Jennifer and daughters Gwendolyn and Elizabeth. Niece, Cristina Campion and husband, Zack Lobel-Fried.
He will be greatly missed, but not forgotten.
