Our heartfelt condolences to the entire family. Mr. Mairs was a special man. We enjoyed his insightful but pithy assessments of world events and his dry humor. Whenever we had a chance to meet, he was warm and welcoming. It was evident he was proud of his children and grandchildren and happily amazed by his ever growing number of great grandchildren. We will miss his smile and that special twinkle in his eye as he reminisced about how life how taken him to many places and situations. We are glad he is together once again with his sweetheart, Marie.

Coach, I never got the chance to thank you for all you did for us Shamrocks. The time and effort you put into making us a team is not forgotten and very much appreciated. You took a bunch of undersized kids and made us champions by teaching us about hard work and toughness. Whenever I drive past St. Joseph's, I think about our team and those wonderful days in the gym. We all loved playing for you and spending time in that gym. As fate would have it, I am now getting the opportunity to coach your grand daughter. How small a world!! There is no doubt that you will be with us every step of the way! Thanks again Coach. Peace, Nick Russo (St. Joseph's Shamrocks 1972/73)
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
