I spent a memorable weekend with Ron at the Fraser Papers fishing lodge when I was new to pulp sales in 2004, I was a supplier and FSI was our agent. He brought a new golf shirt for the occasion. He knew how to make the moment special. Ron welcomed me to the Fibre Source family five years ago over a phone call. He was old school and his word meant something. He was always positive, a creative visionary, a great leader, mentor and father figure. We had great meetings at the Wedgewood in Vancouver, the Savoy in London, and Christmas parties in New York. He always had time to spend "spit balling" ideas with me and the FSI team to find new opportunities to work on. I offer my sincere condolences to Pat, Richie, the Scoza family and the Fibre Source family. I miss you Ron, RIP.

To the Scoza family, Ron was a man that just took up a room. We worked for years together , him always needing a better deal than I could get. Then of course I would fine that deal he had to have. Pat ,we never met and every time I would come to NY or we sat at the Horesass restaurant in Montreal and with Pina , you were all he talked about , how we all had to meet one day. There are to words to describe the loss and shock I feel ,as I know so many of us feel. He was really one of a kind…❤️ My thoughts and sadness are with your family . Karen Shanahan
