Sara Lee and I graduated from Norte Dame together. She was a bright, funny girl. Always ready for fun. She always had a lot of energy and a ready smile. That is how she will remember her. Rest in peace
Dag and Patti Dorph left a message on October 14, 2021:
We have been friends with Sara for many many years. Sara and I, Patti both attended Notre Dame Academy in the 60's. Starting in the early 70's we shared many holidays together. Both families living on the north shore of SI. She watched our children , Heidi and Christian grow thru their younger years. Sara's nickname for my daughter was Heidi doodle. Kind , caring and a conscientious worker. We lost contact with Sara for quite a few years but reunited a few years ago when we had dinner with Betty, Linda and Sara . We continued thru Christmas cards each year. Unfortunately Dag and I will not be able to attend the service for Sara this Friday 10/15. Our thoughts, love and prayers will be with her family and friends.

Saralee was such a lovely person. I met her through work, but where she really shone was in her friendships, her family and her love of crochet. I'll miss her laugh, her expressions and the way she talked about her family, whom she adored. Her memory will always be a blessing to me, and to her Knots of Love group.

A wonderful person. I knew Saralee from grade school, St. Clare's in Staten Island. I remember her parent's store on Hyland Blvd. Truth be told I was very sweet on her. My condolences to her family. Rest in peace, Saralee.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
