I was a student of Mr. Lynch and a member of thr cross county team he coached. I wish to express my sincere condolences. Mr. Lynch made a huge impact on my life. I remember trying to struggle through cross country practice and was far behind the other runners. He met me at 5he finish line, put his arm around my shoulder and said " Jerry, you have a lotta guts". In my life going forward, there were many difficult periods and situations. I nefe4 forgot that day Mr. Lynch told me that and pushed myself through. Teachers had a big influence in my life, so thank you Mr. Lynch

I never meant George although I lived in Vail till I was 18. He wrote to the APPress years ago expressing how it felt to grow up in Vail Homes. I saved his article because it said everything ,I and many, felt about our special bond with Vail. The tribute video is beautiful and shows how loved he was . My condolences on his passing .

Uncle "Butch" George will be missed. His love of music and being ~forced~ to sit down in the living room to listen to a "GREAT" album are some of my earliest memories. The alternating cousin monthly weekend visits helped foster some special family bonds with our cousins and aunt & uncle. His love of woodworking is shared and rubbed off well. Being part of the family tree took on a bit more meaning with Uncle George as it involved wood of course!
