Anna Patronelli, 94, of Long Branch passed away at her home on Saturday morning.

Anna was born and raised in Italy and immigrated to the United States in 1962 and settled in Long Branch. After arriving she began her working career at Renco Manufacturing in Long Branch, where she worked for several years and sister Marie’s restaurant on South Broadway. She finally retired from the Ocean Place Hilton working as a housekeeper at age 71 with a bad knee, for which she would begin having surgeries at age 73 for a total of four body parts due to arthritis.

Anna raised her son, Dominick in Long Branch with help from her mother Francesca and her sisters.  Anna loved to get her hair and nails done, she loved trips to Wildwood and Atlantic City, and she enjoyed walking everywhere she could. She was a homebody and a hard worker who will be sorely missed by all.

Anna is predeceased by her siblings Bruna, Vittoria and Marie who also immigrated to the states.  She had other siblings who remained in Italy; Domenico (Mimo), Vincenzo, Italia, and Francesco (Ciccio).

Anna is survived by her only child, a son, Dominick Patronelli; her nieces and nephews Sal and Vinnie Anello, Mary and Antoniette Gatto, Antoniette Brockelbank. and Ann Marie Miceli; and their families; and all her loving family in Italy.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 26^th from 4:00-8:00 PM at Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch, NJ 07740. A Mass of Chrisitan burial will be offered Friday, March 27th at 11:00 am at Star of the Sea RC Church, 101 Chelsea Ave, Long Branch. Entombment will follow at Woodbine Mausoleum.
