Annette 'Nettie' Smith, 88 of Rumson, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Thursday March 24th. Mrs. Smith was part of the greatest generation, contributing her skills in the manufacturing of the B-22, while her Johnny served overseas. She later used those skills at EAI, West Long Branch. She was a member of NJ Club and active in Line Dancing and Bowling while living in Lady Lake, Fla. Nettie enjoyed playing softball for her high school team. She was a spiritual person. Born in Denver, Co. she lived in West Long Branch, Lady Lake, Fla. and Oceanport, before moving here 4 years ago. Nettie was predeceased by her husband, John F. Smith, in 1992. Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-Law, Annette and Larry Taylor and Yvonne Boggs, both of Rumson; her grandson, Kyle Taylor, Manhattan. Funeral services are private.
