Anthony Pellicano, born on August 8, 1954, of Manalapan passed away peacefully after a long battle with heart disease on Friday, December 6th surrounded by loved ones.
Born and raised in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, Anthony and his wife, Doreen, moved to Manalapan, NJ in 1985 where they started their family. Anthony was a proud graduate of Ft. Hamilton High School, Class of 72’. Then he continued his education and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from Brooklyn College, MBA in Finance from St. John’s University, and an IT Audit certificate from NYU.
Anthony married the love of his life, Doreen, at St. John the Evangelist Church in Park Slope, Brooklyn in 1984. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, faith, and family. Anthony enjoyed a successful career as an IT Security Professional at multiple financial institutions in New York City.
A devout Catholic, Anthony was a parishioner of St. Gabriel’s RC Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Thomas More parish. During his years in Brooklyn, he was the Crew Chief of the Bravo Ambulance Service where he met his wife. He was a charitable man, and was a supporter of St. Vincent De Paul Charities.
Anthony’s hobbies reflected his vibrant personality. He was a collector; his collections included vintage G.I. Joes, Hess trucks, and sports memorabilia. He was a devoted fan of the New York Yankees and Jets. Anthony loved all life forms, especially furry and feathered friends. Through the years Anthony has cared for parakeets and loved watching his grandpup Luna and grandcat Freya. Anthony was known for his love of celebrating the moments in life. Anthony’s enthusiasm for the milestones (big and small), family, and a good meal left a lasting impression on those who knew him.
A man known for his numeracy and intellect, he vested time and energy in making sure that his knowledge was passed onto his family. His sharp wit and humor would bring many to laughter. Amongst all of his investments, his biggest investment was his family.
Surviving Anthony is his wife, Doreen; his children: Stephanie M. & spouse Michael P. Langan; Dr. Christopher A. Pellicano, DDS & spouse Dr. Jennifer B. Ha, DDS and Dr. Andrew J. Pellicano, DDS and his girlfriend Hayley Kordisch, PA-C.

Visitation will be Friday, December 13th 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday, December 14th 9:30 am at St. Gabriel RC Church, 100 North Main Street, Marlboro. Burial to follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY.
