Dearest Boglioli Family, My heartfelt condolences on the passing of your beloved mother (grandmother/great grandmother). Mrs Boglioli’s family (holiday) gatherings were truly legendary affairs…even the smaller intimate ones. I do recall that her homemade spaghetti and meatball dinners were always Molto deliziosa! I feel privileged and grateful to have been a part of these family events for a certain time in my life. Her family was very important to her and she will be greatly missed. May all the special memories you hold near and dear to your hearts, sustain you during this difficult time. Warmest regards, June Emery

Mrs. Audrey Boglioli was an amazing and beautiful person. I remember so many wonderful summers with her at Takanassee Beach Club. When I was a teenager, I worked at the front office at the club. She arrived daily to Tak dressed in a beautiful, coordinated, classy outfit, lovely accessories, and her hair and makeup done to perfection. She reminded me of old time Hollywood glam- classy and natural beauty. She was a truly lady in every sense of the word! But beyond always looking like a million dollars, she was a humble, caring and kind person. Many times the beach club would be jammed with cars and I would see her walk from the lake across Ocean ave to the club. She never asked for favors… she just did what she had to do. However, because all the staff loved her and Mr. Boglioli so much, we decided to always have a spot waiting for her by the office. She was so appreciative! And every day I would save her spot with a cone and I would be greeted by her lovely smile and a nice little chat. I truly enjoyed visiting with her each day when she came to Tak- the beach was her happy place. I remember how much she adored her kids and and grandkids- watching them swimming in the ocean and the cabana pool. She would be so excited to have her family come and visit and she would leave her guest card up in the office to be “punched.” She was so honest with her guests and most of the time, I hardly ever punched her card because of that. She would bring me croissants from Le Chalet bakery and bagels from the Bagel Boys. She was so thoughtful and generous to a kid who worked at a beach club. I also remember seeing Mr. and Mrs. B at St. Michael’s church growing up. We always chatted after Mass and caught up with the kids and what everyone was doing. She and Mr. B were so generous too. One day my husband, myself and Father Bob were having lunch at Richard’s Deli and by some miracle the check had been picked up. When I asked the staff who it was, they said they weren’t supposed to tell, but it was the Boglioli’s. They were that kind of people. When I think of truly legendary people, Audry Boglioli goes to the very top of the list. She was intelligent, kind, humble, loving, caring, generous and a great sense of humor. The world was a better place because of her and she impacted so many people with her life. She was a truly good person down to her core. What a privilege it was to know her and Mr. B. I am certain the angels had a parking spot waiting for her in Heaven. I am sending my deepest condolences to the Boglioli Family during this difficult time. May Jesus hold you all in the Palm of His Hands. I will keep all of you in my prayers. Sending love and prayers from the DeBonis/DeSheplo family in Florida.
