Judi Schneider left a message on March 9, 2024:
Dear Vic, Andrew, Walter, and their extended families, My deepest condolences to all. My memories of Bobbie go back to Allen Street in Elizabeth when she came often to visit her Grandmother. We lived across the street. Our grandmothers were friends forever after they arrived from Poland. My sister, Janet, was friends with Bobbie, and they would play together, tag, dodge ball, jump rope. Hide-and-go-seek was a good one because Bobbie would take me under her wing (so-to-speak because I was 7 years younger). She would hide us both, and Janet would look for us forever and Bobbie laughed and laughed. Then she very wisely would say, “We better come out, she’s getting mad she can’t find us”. Bobbie also taught me to play Jacks and Pick-up-Sticks on her Grandmother’s front porch. Those were the days. I will miss you. Rest in Peace Bobbie. Now you and Janet can play all those games again. With deepest sympathy, Judi Judi Gutkowski-Schneider

I am so saddened to read about Mrs. Jelagin’s passing. I went to Raritan HS where she taught, however she never taught me but we used to see each other at church. One time she came to one of my shows with her husband and Mrs, Byrne and her husband . ( Mrs. Decker when I had her) it was such a joy for me they came. That was the last time I saw Mrs. Jelagin . I often thought of her, she is such a sweet lady. So I send my sincere condolences to her family, know I am very sad she is gone. Godspeed Mrs. Jelagin 🙏🙏🙏🙏💔💔💔

Barbara was simply an amazing woman. She was caring, helpful and just a wonderful person. She was my homeroom teacher at Raritan, but I also had the pleasure of being her mail carrier in Holmdel. I would see her and Vic quite often and they became good friends. She cam to some of our reunions and remarkably, remembered everyone. Rest In Peace, Barbara. God Bless!
