Bryan Webb, Jr., 61 of Lincroft, died on Wednesday, August 17.
He was born in 1961 to Margaret and the late Bryan Webb, Sr. in Red Bank. The family later relocated to Florida, where Bryan was raised and lived until recently coming back to Lincroft.
After high school, Bryan attended Colorado State University, Pueblo, where he played football and held records for kick off return averages and most interceptions in a single season. Even after college, Bryan remained very athletic, and was one of the first professional BMX riders in the world. Bryan’s BMX career spanned from high school through college and beyond. He toured the USA and won multiple awards. Bryan had a long career in the trucking industry and loved to golf and fish.
Bryan was known for his generosity and having a good time. He loved food and was always up to go out to eat. He had a big heart and will be sorely missed by those who knew him. Bryan loved spending time with his friends and family, and especially loved his dog, Puddin.
He is predeceased by his father, and his brother Charles Webb.
Surviving is his mother, Margaret Helen Webb, his sisters Suzanne and her husband Tim Kelly of Colts Neck, Pamela Harman of Ocean City, MD, and Yvonne and her husband James Moore of Virginia Beach, VA.
A Memorial Gathering will be held from 7pm – 9pm on Friday, August 19 at Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11am on Saturday, August 20 at St. Anthony of Padua, 121 Bridge Avenue, Red Bank. Burial will be private.
